The latest Crime In India report released by the National Crime Records Bureau says that over 59,000 children went missing in the country in 2020 alone. This essentially means that over 1 child goes missing every 8 minutes. The cumulative tally of children who still remain untraced in India till 2020 stands at 1,08,234.
