Operation Everest: In Conversation With Susmita Maskey
Our Indian Army team Everest got the privilege to meet Susmita Maskey, the first Nepali Woman Mountaineer who led the most successful and historic expedition of 10 Nepali women to Everest with notions of "Unity in Diversity" and "Women Empowerment and Gender Equality" in the year 2008. She is in this field for past 12 years. On 6th December 2014, Susmita Maskey became the first Nepali woman to climb all seven summits after making successful ascents of Mt. Everest twice. Team Army got an opportunity to meet such an inspiration and they had a great interactive session with her.
