Operators fight over 3G services
CDMA and GSM players are fighting over which frequency 3G services should operate. "Issue on 3G is what kind of spectrum or band should be allocated for CDMA players which would address the expectation of the availability of equipment on one hand and also dispel the misgivings of GSM that any particular band allocation for CDMA would interfere or have overlapping problems. It looks simple but is a complicated matter," said Nripendra Misra, Chairman, TRAI.
