Opposition polling agents missing from WB poll scene
All 66 seats that went to the polls in Bengal had more than one contestant. But at many polling booths, polling agents from only one political party, the Left, were present. At a booth in Goghat constituency, as voters queued up outside, polling agents for Trinamool and Congress simply didn't show up. Even poll officials were surprised.
