Opposition stages walkout over Profit Bill
It has been 17 days and the President has still not signed the Office of Profit bill, which was returned to him by the Parliament without his concerns being addressed. Now in a clear signal to the President that his suggestions are being honoured, the government has announced a Joint Parliamentary Committee to redefine an Office of Profit.
