"Opposition Unity Is Strong": Trinamool's Sougata Roy After No-Trust Vote
Reacting to the voting in no-trust motion in Lok Sabha, Trinamool Congress lawmaker Saugata Roy told NDTV that the opposition unity is strong and it was a success in bringing all anti-BJP parties together. The Narendra Modi government today won the vote of confidence in Lok Sabha by a comfortable margin at the end of a marathon 12-hour debate. In a house of 451 members, 325 voted in favour of the government, 126 were against it. The halfway mark stood at 226, giving the government a two-third majority.
