Opposition Unity Over Caste Census, BJP Calls It "Hypocrisy"
As the opposition, including senior leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Nitish Kumar and Akhilesh Yadav, raise a call for a fresh caste census outlining the breakup of OBCs in order for "better implementation of public policies", the BJP hit back, saying that it's hypocritical of the Congress to raise this clamour - given that Nehru, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi were against it.
