Orissa tribals rue threat to local deity
The primitive Dongoria and Jharania Kondh tribes in Orissa's Kalahandi district are a worried lot. A private aluminum company has been allowed to mine the Niyamgiri hill. The tribals are opposed to the idea as they worship the hill.
