Orissa villagers unite to protect tigers
Orissa government has just accorded Simlipal Tiger Reserve and National Park the status of a sanctuary, a good 28 years after the proposal was mooted. This is designed to help provide better protection to the tigers. But activists say that nothing is going to change until the poaching menace is tackled head on.
