Out of a job because Jet Airways shut down, and unable to pay for the education of his special needs child because he is unable to access his funds in PMC bank, a 51-year-old man returns home distraught, has a heart attack and dies. The situation still remains grim for thousands of members of the banks who have deposited their funds in the bank - funds which they cannot fully access. At the moment - all they can withdraw is Rs 40,000 every six months. How do many in Mumbai survive on less than Rs 7,000 a month is what many want to ask.
