The aircraft carrying second batch of Indian nationals who allegedly illegally migrated to the US landed at Amritsar Airport in wee hours of Feb 16. This is the second such flight of deportees carrying 119 migrants which has landed in Amritsar Airport after US President Donald Trump's inauguration. The relatives of migrants alleged that the agents fooled them and didn't informed that they are using 'Dunki' route to send them to US and UK. Earlier on February 5, a US Air Force plane carrying Indian citizens who allegedly illegally migrated to the US arrived in Punjab's Amritsar. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann assured that the deportees would be treated properly and that all arrangements had been made.
