Over 1,600 COVID-19 Cases In Tamil Nadu, 18 Dead

Tamil Nadu's capital Chennai continues to have a maximum number of COVID-19 positive cases with 358 cases. On Wednesday, 15 out of 33 new cases across the state were from Chennai. In a bid to check this rising trend, Chief Minister E Palaniswami has ordered testing of all people with symptoms of cold, fever and respiratory issues. Movement in containment zones will be completely stopped. Contact tracing and their testing would be expedited.
