The Ministry of culture is organising a grand auction of an exquisite array of gifts and mementos received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The items on offer encompass an array of traditional art forms, showcasing vibrant paintings, intricate sculptures, indigenous handicrafts, tribal artefacts. These include traditional angavastram, shawls, headgear, ceremonial swords, and much more. Special collectable includes Shri Ram Mandir temples models, shri Dwarkadhish mandir, statues of Hindu deities, silver Filigree, khadi shawls, gond arts and Mahbubani pieces. The grand auction is set to be inaugurated on Tuesday, the 17th of September, which coincides with the PM's birthday. It will be conducted online and will be open to the public at large until the 2nd of October. Of the 600 items that are up for sale, around 100 mementos have been put up for exhibition at the National gallery of Modern Arts According to organizers, this is the sixth edition of the event, where the gifts received by PM Modi will be put up for auction. The money collected from the auction will be used to support the clean Ganga mission.
