Panel seeks consent for slippers in hotels
Elected representatives in Maharashtra are putting their best foot forward, all for the cause of ethnic footwear. Believe it or not, the Legislative Council has set up a committee to make sure that five-star hotels don't turn away guests who wear Kolhapuri slippers.
