Para Athlete Prachi Yadav's Message For People with Disabilities (PwDs)
Para Athlete Prachi Yadav, first Indian Para-Canoe player to win a gold in the Asian Para Games 2023, joined the launch of the initiative Samarth by Hyundai, in partnership with NDTV, and narrated her ordeal as a person with a disability. From being rejected by a school to being discouraged by the society for pursuing sports, Ms Yadav said a person is disabled by mind and not by body. The para athlete said that one can combat all the difficulties in life by strengthening themselves mentally.
