Parliament Budget Session: Language, Delimitation Row Causes Uproar In Both Houses | Read

The second leg of the ongoing session will commenced with the Opposition raising an uproar over the ongoing delimitation and language row. The Opposition also walked out of the Rajya Sabha. The Waqf Bill and US trade tariffs are also expected to be raised. 

Within the first few minutes of the Parliament reconvening, chaos ensued as the Opposition raised an uproar over the ongoing language row.

While the DMK echoed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's view of Hindi imposition challenging the cultural ethos of a non-Hindi-speaking state, the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the party is misleading the youth. He alleged "political opportunism" by the Stalin-led party.
