Parliament security concern over 3G
After the Parliament attack of 2001, security arrangements saw a major overhaul, Both the Houses got automatic barricades, armed commandos and surviellance cameras. But in a security scare, phones started ringing in Parliament this October. The cause was not faulty jammers, but a mobile tower just across the road where public sector unit Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) was testing 3G signals.
