Parliament Session Marred By Disruptions From Both Government And Opposition
Today was the 10th straight day when parliament failed to function. The second part of the budget session has been a complete washout from day 1, making it just the second parliament session during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure to be so. The last time a similar dramatic session was seen was in 2018 when the opposition did not allow the house to function on issues of special status to Andhra Pradesh and the Punjab National Bank fraud.
