The Supreme Court on Sunday said the Centre must produce the letters of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis claiming majority, as well as that of the Governor inviting Fadnavis to form government on Monday. It was hearing a petition of the Shiv Sena, Congress and Sharad Pawar's NCP against the extraordinary manner in which government formation took place in Maharashtra on Saturday. The letters have to be submitted by 10:30 am on Monday, the court said.
