Parties play Shivaji card to lure votes
In Mumbai, a senior journalist Loksatta Editor Kumar Ketkar's house was attacked because he criticised the decision to install a 200-crore Shivaji statue in a state, starting a new chapter in the political grabfest over Shivaji. A similar attack was made four years ago in Aurangabad on the house of R R Borade, the chief of the Sahitya Mandal, an autonomous literary and cultural body of the state government.
