Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma led National Peoples Party or NPP, a key BJP ally in the Northeast and a partner in the previous coalition Government in Manipur, is caught in a catch 22 situation in Manipur. The party has improved its performance winning seven seats after it went solo and contested against the BJP. Party chief Conrad Sangma spoke ecvlusively to NDTV's Ratnadip Choudhury and indicated that the parry MLAs in Manipur will decide whether to be in opposition or support the BJP incase a situation emerges.
