BJP's Parvesh Verma emerged as a giant slayer, scripting the biggest victory of the Delhi Assembly polls on Saturday. He defeated AAP supremo and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in a fierce contest from the New Delhi seat by a margin of over 4,000 votes. 47-year-old Parvesh Verma, a two-time MP from West Delhi, got down to campaigning in New Delhi even before he was nominated as the party's candidate. He declared himself as Mr Kejriwal's rival who held the constituency for three successive terms.
