Passenger's "Mild Explosion" Claim Before Train Derails In UP
Multiple coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express went off the tracks today. The accident happened near Jhilahi railway station, close to Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. As per the Gonda District Magistrate, two people were killed and around 20 were injured in the incident. A passenger travelling in the Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express said, "I had to go to Hajipur... There was a mild explosion (before the incident) and after that a strong jolt was felt and our coach derailed. We were coming from Chandigarh."
