Patient Taken To Hospital 12 KM Away On Palanquin Due To Damaged Roads
An elderly patient in Uttarakhand had to be transported to the nearest health center, located 12 kilometres away, on a palanquin, after access was cut off due to rain and damaged roads. The incident has been reported from Bor Balla village in Bageshwar district. The district administration claims that they are facing technical difficulties in constructing a motorable road due to the area being prone to landslides.
