Patients And Families Brave Extreme Cold in Chandigarh
The cold spell in Chandigarh continues with minimum temperatures remaining around 2-5 degrees. But this weather also welcomes people from neighbouring states who have come here for medical treatment. Many patients and their families who come to PGI, Chandigarh's largest government hospital, in search of affordable treatment end up living on the street outside the hospital and have to brave the biting cold. While the govt has provided shelters, many patients say they fall short.
