Patna zoo swarmed with ghariyals
Earlier this year, the death of over one hundred ghariyals - the long-snouted gangetic crocodiles - in the Chambal sanctuary in Uttar Pradesh had sent wildlife experts and environmentalists into a tizzy. Patna zoo has thrown up another concern. It is facing a ghariyal crisis of plenty.
