In an interview to Nikunj Garg and Marya Shakil, first-time VPP MP from Shillong, Dr Ricky Andrew J Syngkon lamented the fact that crucial issues were not being discussed in the parliament because of the constant disruptions. The doctor said that such disruptions were costing crores of rupees. He further said that issues of youth such as the fact that North Eastern University did not have a single class once a month, were not being taken up. According to the MP, such activities were resulting in the future of India's youth being compromised.
