"People Will Respond": Hemant Soren On Centre's 'Samvidhan Hatya Diwas' Announcement
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for the first time since he was released from jail. He slammed the BJP for allegedly misusing central agencies to target the Opposition. On the Centre declaring June 25 as 'Samvidhan Hatya Diwas', Mr Soren said, "People are not who they (BJP) think they are... The beauty of this democracy and this country is that people are very sensitive and have the ability to tolerate, but when people take a stand on their own, the results are seen from time to time." Mr Soren, referring to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, said the BJP has humiliated the judiciary.
