People With TB Supported For Treatment Adherence
Experts say for early detection of cases, the national TB control programme must go into the community, rather than wait for patients to walk in through the door. The Axshya project is doing just that, with door to door surveys, screening of symptoms and referrals. The project is currently being implemented in 300 districts. Sutapa Deb reports.
