'Persuasion' To End Shaheen Bagh Protests?
The Delhi Police are in touch with religious leaders and have asked them to "persuade" protesters at Shaheen Bagh to clear the road, which they have blocked for over a month now, over their protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The Delhi High Court has told the police to act keeping in mind public interest. The court was responding to a plea on traffic jam due to the anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh.
