Petrol Diesel Rates Hiked For 5th Day, Set To Go Up Further?
We are seeing an unprecedented, meteoric rise of fuel prices in India. For the fifth straight day, petrol and diesel prices have increased. From yesterday, the prices were increased by 28-31 paise in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. In these five days, petrol prices have been raised across these cities by Rs 0.97-1.03, while diesel prices have been raised by Rs 1-1.24 per litre. With Friday's increase, diesel price in Delhi are at a fresh all-time high, naturally the consumer is facing the pinch at the pump. Is the pain going to get worse for you and me?
