The retail price of petrol today touched Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan after fuel rates were hiked for 10 consecutive days. The price of normal petrol also crossed Rs 100 per litre in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district on Wednesday. The transporters of Sriganganagar, who are the worst hit by the fuel price hike, say the governent is losing money from the rising prices as most buses are refuelling from Punjab. "Prices are so high that our buses are not even moving," they said.
