Planning Commission expects further monetary easing
Planning Commission member Saumitra Chaudhuri says the RBI's move to cut rates was appropriate and the current economic conditions may justify further easing. He adds that while the increases in MSP have added to headline food inflation, the effects of higher MSPs should ease over the coming year.
