Ashok Leyland, India's commercial vehicle maker, posted a 13.24 per cent decline in its net profit for the quarter March 31 at Rs 258.74 crore versus Rs 298.23 crore in the same period last year. Vinod Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland told NDTV Profit that they are planning to make about 36,000 vehicles in FY13-14. "We are happy about the exports market that we have developed. Southern markets are seeing revival," added. As far as the vehicle pricing is concerned, he said that the company could see some pricing pressure if the Nifty comes down.
