Dr Gary Stutte a Scientist from Kennedy Space Centre, NASA joined the Breathe Clean Conclave and highlighted the importance of plants in tackling pollution. He emphasized that apart from the fact that plants remove carbon dioxide and produce oxygen to purify atmosphere, these also are an effective way to remove pollutants like formaldehyde and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). He added that plants provide bio-regenerative life support by cleaning the air, generating fresh water and food. Enough reasons for everyone to add plants to their homes, he concluded.
