Ashok Chawla projects fiscal deficit at 5% of GDP
Finance secretary Ashok Chawla has said that the government may be able to slash its estimated fiscal deficit by another 50 basis points, thanks to the windfall gains from the auction of 3G spectrum and buoyant revenue collection.
