Buy good mix of consumer and PSU banks: Raamdeo Agrawal
Raamdeo Agrawal, Joint Managing Director, Motilal Oswal Financial Services says consumer stocks are good long term bets despite stretched valuations because of safety of capital, ease in understand their businesses and dividend yields. However, investors with time horizons of 2-3 years should not invest in these stocks because they are likely to underperform in the short term.
