Cabinet may consider DTC Bill on Thursday
Finance ministry officials indicate the cabinet is likely to consider the direct tax code Bill on Thursday, a move aimed at rationalising rates and improving tax compliance. Thereafter, the government will attempt tabling the Bill in parliament on August 30.
