Govt’s spectrum pricing concerns
There is another spat brewing on the controversial issue of pricing telecom spectrum. A government body to look at the pricing of resources has recommended market pricing of even start up spectrum. The telecom regulator TRAI, though, has clarified to the government that it may not be possible to charge market prices for spectrum upto the basic 6.2Mhz.
