HPCL's under-recoveries remain very high
India's 2nd largest oil PSU, HPCL, has already lost Rs 1700 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal due to under recoveries. HPCL is losing Rs 6.50 on every litre of diesel sold in the country. It also loses Rs 360 on every LPG cylinder sold and Rs 19/litre on every litre of kerosene sold through PDS.
