Inflation worries for the government
Food inflation has hit a 10 week high with the number climbing to 14.4 per cent for the week ending December 18. This is a jump of over 2 per cent in within a period of a week. No wonder, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is a worried man as high food inflation numbers have now forced him to revise the overall annual inflation target upwards.
