Obama has many economic challenges ahead: Gerard Lyons
Even as the markets react positively to Barack Obama's re-election as the American president, economic challenges lie ahead, says Gerard Lyons of Standard Chartered. Lyons feels that while some uncertainty over US monetary policy has been removed with the re-election, concerns over fiscal policy continue. He adds that he expects some pull down in US growth in the early part of 2013 even if the fiscal cliff is avoided.
