RBI Holds Key Policy Rates Unchanged As Expected | Read
The Monetary Policy Committee decided to hold key policy rates at existing levels amid high inflation, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said on Friday. Three new external members in the panel voted in today's decision. The status quo on key interest rates was widely expected by economists, as the RBI remains committed to curb elevated levels of inflation and revive the economy which contracted a record 23.9 per cent in April-June period.
