RIL not willing to give up on Atlas assets
It is muscle flexing time again for Mukesh Ambani controlled Reliance Industries. Months after it agreed to invest in the shale gas assets of US-based Atlas energy, it is protesting the purchase of Atlas, by Cheveron. Sources indicate that RIL is not willing to give up the fight so soon and will make it difficult for Chevron to take over RIL’s shale gas JV partner Atlas Energy.
