Sensex Hits 32,000 For First Time, Nifty Nears 9,900
Indian shares extended gains on Thursday led by banking stocks on hopes of a rate cut by the RBI. The Sensex moved above the 32,000 mark for the first time while the Nifty edged closer to 9,900.
