Sensex Surges Over 200 Points, Nifty Reclaims 11,300 | Read
Strong global cues lifted the domestic share markets on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The Sensex opened at 37,327.16 while the Nifty50 at 11,297.80. In the first few minutes of the trade, the Sensex surged 227.16 points or 0.61 per cent to 37,392.32 while the Nifty50 reclaimed the crucial 11,300 level as it traded at 11,309.80 with a gain of 65.10 points or 0.58 per cent.
