TCS Q2 net profit jumps 49% to Rs. 3510 crore, beats estimates

TCS, India's biggest software services exporter, reported higher than expected profit for the second quarter ending September 2012. Net profit jumped 7 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs. 3,510 crore against Rs. 3,280 crore in the June quarter. TCS CEO Natarajan Chandrasekaran attributed revenue mix as one of the reasons behind the decline in margins.
