Telecom Regulator Gives Deadline to Operators for Improving Network Quality

TRAI Chairman RS Sharma spoke to NDTV Profit about the meeting he had with telcos on call drops a day earlier. Telcos have been given 15 days deadline to improve their network quality. But when it comes to compensating customers for call drops that is not contingent to results of the test drive. Feedback on the consultation paper on call drops will decide the structure of compensation.
