US economy going through 'soft patch': Avalon Partners
Peter Cardillo, chief market economist at Avalon Partners, says the US economy is going through a 'soft patch' which is going to continue right through the next quarter. Manufacturing, construction and private sector jobs figures all showed weakness, adding to the gloom that recovery by the US economy is stalling as it did last summer.
