What India Wants From The Budget
The Union Budget 2019 is an election budget, falling just few months before the Lok Sabha polls. Tonight on Versus, we focus on the various issues that are on the wish list of the people of India. What do the people want and what are their expectations from the Budget: Will middle class get an income tax cut; will direct income transfer to farmers be introduced; will some form of universal basic income be introduced, are some of the questions that form the focal point of today's discussion.
